The heritage listed Cape Byron Lighthouse Keepers Cottages offer the unique opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle of the lighthouse keeper. Located within a National Park on the spectacular Cape Byron Headland and just 3 km from the iconic town centre of Byron Bay, these cottages are a holiday rental opportunity not to be missed.

The lighthouse keepers' cottages were constructed in 1901 as homes for the keepers working at Cape Byron Lightstation. The two fully restored three bedroom cottages are classic examples of Victorian Georgian style and yet offer all the modern comforts of today.

From your veranda or bedroom you can be amongst the first people to witness the sunrise over the east coast of Australia, and then kick back in the afternoon and enjoy the peace of sunset over the Byron hinterland.

Enjoy the sight humpback whales passing through the Marine Park at your front door as they migrate from Antarctica to their breeding grounds north of Byron Bay.

Explore the maritime heritage of Byron Bay with a guided tour of the Cape Byron Lighthouse or a wander through the maritime museum and visitor information centre.
